Steve
Steve Akin serves as the Connections Pastor, where he is passionate about helping people move from their first visit to a place of belonging, purpose, and spiritual growth. In his role, Steve leads efforts to create a welcoming environment and clear next steps so that every person who walks through the doors can get connected to relationships, groups, and opportunities to serve.
With a heart for people, Steve is committed to building authentic community and ensuring that no one falls through the cracks. He works closely with volunteer teams and ministry leaders to cultivate a culture of hospitality, making it easy for individuals and families to experience connection, grow in their faith, and become fully engaged in the life of the church.
Steve has a passion for developing systems and environments that help people grow—from guest services and small groups to leadership development and outreach. He believes that life change happens best in relationships and is dedicated to helping others take their next step in following Christ.
Outside of ministry, Steve enjoys spending time with family and connecting with people in the community. His greatest joy is seeing lives transformed as people discover purpose, build meaningful relationships, and grow in their walk with God.
